The essentials in brief:

Smart Meter is a power control device for microinverter system. It can collect the current grid output power status.
At the same time, it is connected to the home network, communicates with microinverters under the same network, and controls the output power of the entire microinverter system.
Zero Export or Zero Feed-in operation capability to minimize returns to the public grid, simply by adding the Tsun Smart Meter. The Zero Export or Zero Feed-in operation is performed Locally at high speed due to the direct connection and data exchange of the Tsun Smart Meter with the Tsun Inverter. This ensures that the data transmission is very fast, almost instantaneous in fractions of a second, resulting in a significant reduction in the problem of the Inverter's delay in adapting to the consumption data that common Zero Feed-in systems usually have.

Function: Consumption Calculation & Zero Export

The smart meter collects measurement data on the grid side of the household, uploads it to the platform and visualizes it in the app and web.
If the "Anti-reverse-flow" function is activated (Zero Export), the smart meter sends the grid values ​​to the micro-inverter via the local network. which automatically adjusts its output power to household consumption – thus it zero injection reached.
